An early innovator in meat-free cuisine, Jay Morjaria was founder and head chef at London’s first vegetarian cooking school, Sutra Kitchen and in the same year published his debut cookbook ‘Share’, a unique collection of simple global vegetarian recipes.

Eager to keep innovating his style, Jay set his sights on the Far East with it's rich heritage in plant based cuisine and bounties of undiscovered ingredients.  He spent a year training in Korea and subsequently Japan, picking up traditional cooking methods of the Orient, both ancient and modern, before returning home and embarking on a new chapter: Dynasty. This unique and modern East Asian restaurant concept is a shrine to Jay's quest through Orient combined with his own marked style.

In the past year, Dynasty has hosted a successful series of collaborations with the Korean Embassy and Clearspring as well sold out dining events across London - all with a plant forward ethos. Dynasty makes it's national TV debut on BBC2's new restaurant show, Million Pound Menu.
